Bio

Before earning my J.D., I trained as an engineer and a scientist — a B.S. in chemical engineering and an M.S. in physics. That background means I understand your technology on its own terms, not just its legal shape. When you explain what you’ve built, you won’t have to translate.

I’ve spent my career across the full life of a patent — procurement, licensing, and litigation — for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individual inventors. Along the way I’ve drafted hundreds of patents and litigated scores of intellectual property cases, on both sides of the sword and shield.
